What is our Emergency Procedure for Telehealth?
Before scheduling a telehealth appointment, you’ll need to answer a brief emergency conditions/symptoms screener. If your answers indicate a medical emergency, you will be prompted to seek emergency care and will not be able to schedule a telehealth appointment and you will not be charged.
If, during your video or phone appointment, we determine that your condition requires in-person evaluation at an urgent care or emergency room, we will advise you to seek urgent or emergency care and call 911 if necessary before discontinuing the telehealth visit. In this case, we will issue a full refund for the consultation. However, refunds are not provided for completed visits where medical care was delivered.
In critical situations, such as when a patient is incapacitated or experiencing a severe mental health crisis, we may call 911 on their behalf to ensure immediate assistance.
📌 Please note: We are not responsible for any costs related to emergency services, urgent care visits, or ambulance transport.
